Allergie sorgt für Zusatzkosten beim Zahnersatz

Gesetzlich Versicherte erhalten bei einem bestimmten Befund Zuschüsse zu einer medizinisch notwendigen Versorgung mit Zahnersatz. Dieser Zuschuss ist bundesweit einheitlich und wird unabhängig vom Mundgesundheitszustand, vom Alter, von Erkrankungen oder Erkrankungsrisiken wie Allergien des Patienten gezahlt.

Das erklärte die Bundesregierung auf Anfrage auf eine Kleine Anfrage der Fraktion Die Linke. Zusätzliche Kosten, die auf Grund einer nachgewiesenen Allergie anfallen, sind allerdings grundsätzlich selbst zu tragen, da „innerhalb der Festzuschuss-Konzeption nicht auf jeden einzelnen Behandlungsfall mit klinischen Besonderheiten oder individuellen Wünschen bei der Auswahl der Werkstoffe abgestellt“ werden könne.
